Our approach to your child’s care
You do not have to navigate your child’s eczema care alone. Our family-run clinic is led by Youngmee Lee and Dahbin An, AHPRA-registered Chinese medicine practitioners. We take time to understand your child’s skin history, current treatments and the impact on everyday family life. We help you make sense of your options and develop practical next steps, with care tailored to your child’s age and circumstances. We will discuss Chinese medicine options alongside supportive skin-care and lifestyle guidance.Â
What can parents expect from our care?
A thorough consultation, clear explanations and guidance tailored to your family. We work with you to review current routines, identify questions that need medical follow-up and consider suitable care options. If treatment is recommended, we discuss realistic goals and review your child’s response. Outcomes vary and improvement cannot be guaranteed. Herbal medicines can cause adverse effects and interactions, so suitability must be assessed individually.
Preparing for your appointment
Your first appointment is a chance to move from uncertainty to clear next steps. Bring your child’s current creams and medicines, relevant reports and your questions. Tell us about allergies, sleep, school routines and what has been difficult to manage. We will review your concerns, explain suitable options and agree on priorities that fit your family. You will understand the proposed approach and total investment before deciding.
When should we see a doctor?
Seek prompt medical assessment first for weeping, crusting, painful blisters, rapidly worsening skin, fever or a child who seems unwell.Â
